Hot, Blue, and Righteous
Word Girl and I, when launching MoltenThought a few weeks back, hit on a theme for what we wanted to do: "Hot, Blue, and Righteous". When we took out our first blogad over at Captain's Quarters, this was the theme we referred to in the ad.
Here's what we mean by it:
Hot - Anything that hits at the visceral or cerebral level---politics, for example. Daily or weekly posts required.
Blue - Anything that hits at the emotional level---art, culture, music for example. Weekly or monthly posts required.
Righteous - Anything that hits at the spiritual level---religion, for example. Weekly or monthly posts required.
Check out the sidebar at the right today and you'll see we're breaking up the old BlogRoll into these areas.
As one would expect from following MoltenThought these past couple of months, we've had lots of Hot material (around 80%), leavened with some Blue and some Righteous (about 10% each).
We'll be bringing up the Blue and Righteous content level over the next few weeks---part of our commitment to offer something a bit different.
We're also committed to helping new bloggers get started by sharing what we've learned and what kind souls across the blogosphere have shared with us. We'll be providing this content under the BlogTools header at the right.
MoltenThought is continuing to evolve.
